How we help make slippery floors anti slip and more resistant
Resistile uses a formulation known as IntellaTread®, South Africa’s No.1 Anti Slip solution, to treat surfaces that become slippery when wet. The formulation has a chemical reaction with the pores of the surface which effectively increases the surface friction, therefore reducing the risk and danger associated with slip and fall type accidents.
The result of the chemical reaction with the surface is a creation of thousands of microscopic crevices, a tread pattern that creates a suction cup effect when the treated surface becomes wet.
The anti slip treatment is applied simply and safely onto many types of existing porous floors such as ceramic tile, quarry tile, terrazzo, concrete, brick, limestone, granite, slate and pool decking. The anti slip treatment can also be applied to porcelain and enamel bathtubs and showers.
